Equestrian paradise. We offer horse boarding in our boarding stable on our gently rolling, 98 acre corner of nature's paradise. There are mixed woodlands, wetland, hay fields and of course pastures. There are safe trails around the farm (check out photo gallery).
The farm is a haven for wildlife so you will likely see deer, turkeys and other critters.
We are 8 mins drive from Fenelon Falls and 1km in from Hwy 35. 20 Mins drive north of Lindsay, Ontario in the Kawartha Lakes.
Our gallery of photographs and our active Facebook page (see link below) speak for themselves.
The farm used to be a deer farm: the old name for a deer is a "hart" and we like to keep things a little wild so "Wildhart" seemed appropriate.
Most of our horses live out 24/7 with shelters and an option of a stall in bad weather or in case of illness. There are only a maximum of 8 horses at any one time and individual care is a given. Great care is taken when introducing new horses and a firm vaccination and de-worming policy is in place based on veterinary advice to protect all our horses.
The 8 stall barn/arena complex was built to our specifications in 2011 and we opened in 2012. The arena is bright and dust free with high tech lights for those dark evenings. There is a heated tack room with hot water and a mini kitchen; this looks out into the 65 x 128 ft arena.
There is a small beginner cross country course and a small selection of show jumps in the arena. Our boarders enjoy a mix of activities - trail riding, obstacle training, dressage, eventing, ground work. We have regular visits from a wonderful coach who, although competing at a high level of dressage herself, is excellent at working with any rider at any level. Outside coaches are welcome (talk to us).
Includes pasture, hay as required, twice daily feeds of a feed balancer (low calorie feed with added minerals and vitamins to balance a forage based diet).. Additional feed can be provided if required at additional cost..
As outdoor but also includes a stall and bedding..
If you require more than outdoor board but can help out with looking after your horse indoors, we can talk about options.
